Beach Treat

Yet another Sunday. Yet another picnic. This time to Alibaug. Sorry. Not right upto there. It's Kihim beach. Best way to travel is to take a ferry to Mandwa from the Gateway of India. 1 hr by boat. And then 30 min onto the beach. We hadn't booked our catamarans in advance. But fortunately just managed to squeeze in both the times.

We had 2 options. Either take a rented tent or a room nearby to the beach. Room seemed a better option any day.
The Kihim beach is relatively cleaner than the regular beaches though I found the Kashid beach to be more isolated n cleaner. Luckily, our place had a separate approach to the beach.

The prawns and fish were awesome in typical konkan style. The small play area just added to the kids fun time.

Now awaiting the next weekend at the same place. Follow this space for more fun.
